People say it's mouth breathing, posture and not eating hard foods.

But actually it's 99% malnutrition (sun exposure, food and not sleeping well enough mostly).

It starts before you are born, with your mom being malnourished.

False in slightly recessed and i ate great growing up.
It's possible to have properly developed skull and jaws, but still have a bit of undefined chin I gues. Then it would be genetics probably.

Can you say what you mean you ate great growing up? Did you eat organ meat daily?

Bad diet, bad genes from bad diet, respiratory problems

Mouth posture and diet very young are the biggest factors in my experience.

Both of my siblings had crooked teeth and needed dental work. I didn't need any. My teeth grew straight, and my ramus, chin, and maxilla are also more developed than theirs.

I ate healthier than my siblings as a kid and I didn't have bad habits like sucking my thumb. I had a lisp, so I was taught proper tongue posture at 8 yrs old in school. Most kids aren't taught proper tongue posture and don't get speech therapy like I did. I might have also got better sun exposure because my skin tone is different, so it doesn't burn.
