That depends on where you get them and implants will always be better

Zygos would be retarded to get filler in, chin is fine but paranasal is dumb as well there's really no need for it

implants are a gamble though... but yeah in areas like the cheekbones you should probably either get fat grafting, implants, or get nothing at all...

why retarded is what i shouldve asked
Zygo filler isn’t a bad choice, you just have to monitor it bc it could migrate and bloat you

Paranasal is just not very effective, you would need a lot for a noticeable difference and migration risk is high

In what world are implants a gamble? The amount of planning and precision that goes into them almost insures that nothing will go wrong. Unlike implants, you can just walk into a clinic and get some HA fillers shot into your face by a 25 year old white woman in office with no planning beforehand.

Ever heard of migration
yeah i asked cause a couple guys here recommended small injections for zygos for a bit extra volume and "small migration risk" jfl

Have you even gotten implants? :lul:

restylane 0.5ml

So in order for me to make a factual statement about implants I need to get them?

You don't need to be a chef to know when the foods bad, such a shitty argument to make.

None get implants

chin is best spot for fillers since gravity cant really pull it down to any place lower in the face, anything but chin seems kinda of retarded imo youre just fucking yourself over in BEST case scenario ~3 years. just look at androgenic now compared to 2022, short term filler gains -> ogre

how much filler is good for chin and isnt too much?

idk its dependent on your ratios and what not. theres really no limit to "how much" cause you can just keep getting it touched up when it migrates or gets reabsorbed. you could always make a morph of what you want to look like and show it to the people at the filler clinic

But the people here who actually acsended used filler instead of implants? Bgm for example. Surgery & filler mog possibly botched implants

Filler is more likely to go wrong and has a much lower ROI than implants, refer to my friend Orka's newest thread

No more than 1ml in any area.

Think of it as a fat graft (soft tissue) substitute not an implant (bone) substitute and that will give you an idea of the appropriate applications.

Fillers are hated too much on here because of some stupid people who abuse them and put 20ml of filler in their face and it spreads out.

I think it’s better for jaw angles (in combination with bimax widening to stick to the Max 1mL rule) than jaw implants but it’s not a popular opinion.

what about lengthening the ramus with filler for a lower gonial angle?? is that good or will it use too much filler...

It’s not ideal due to lack of support. You’re basically trying to build up an edge using soft goo. Same as trying to recreate saddled infras using filler.

so its over for people with a short ramus? unfixable failo? implants are risky and even if you do get one, messing with the gonial angle is likely to cause masseter dehiscence...

That’s my understanding of it, yes.

To be honest a mid-ramus sagittal split osteotomy doesn’t sound impossible since there are no major muscle attachments in the area. But I’m unaware of any surgeons offering that. @RealSurgerymax is the pioneer here, maybe can or has developed something.

Fine if it’s less than 1ml and you are just trying to add volume rather than create new edges.
