gotta use products if you have straight hair after you get the cut too or else it’ll just look like a shit grown out bowl cut

sea salt spray or light matte cream (if your hair is on the thicker side)

my hair varies a lot, it goes from thick to feeling kinda thin.

My hair is thin as fuck, and I use this powder that adds volume to my hair. The brand I use is called Slick Gorilla. It really works and makes my hair not look like a thin pile of shit & it also holds your hair in place when you style it.

I'll definitely check it out but I think a reason my hair has been feeling thin throughout the day could be me changing my night showers to morning time?

You have to find a barber who knows how to actually style and layer your hair properly. Don't go to those barbers who expect you to be like "1 on the sides 3 on the top" or whatever. You can just experiment with different barbers and see which one can do your hair properly. It might take a long time to find a good barber, though.

I don't think the time you shower has any affect on your hair quality. Is your water hard? Maybe the stuff in the water is messing up your hair. Look up shower head filters for hard water and get one.

I don't think it's hard and just got a new showerhead about 2 months ago

I know bro, good barbers are hidden gems. I've been to atleast 20 different barbers and they all left me hating my hair waiting for it to grow out. I'm trying to find a 'tiktok' barber I think they might be better for me.
