More like what didn't happen. Once I hit my late twenties (27 or 28 I believe) without any success with women, ever, I started to realize deep down that it was over. I fought the realization with extreme self-improvement, which I have maintained. My life got a bit better but still zero success with women. Now I have accepted that it is indeed over but I still self-improve because coincidentally, the things that improve your odds with women happen to just be generally good for you.
