What happens if someone just does 1x5 Bench and 1x5 Press and nothing else?

Like they just do these lifts EOD, and do nothing else. Will they still gain muscle?

Yeah but you'll gain it really slowly. I highly recommend higher volume.

don’t fall for the theorycel propaganda. Low volume “mentzer style” routines don’t work for people with average and below genetics.

Much less routines that combine stronglifts 5x5(the worst beginner routine) with mentzer style training!

Just go to your local gym and ask the buff guys what they’re hitting, what their training split is. you’ll see nearly 100% of the time it’s push pull legs or some other split.

follow a neurotypical Push pull legs and make gains, or follow an incel tier jason blaha-mike mentzer hybrid split and make no gains + waste time. the choice is yours

like you literally won’t be able to progress in strength even after a point because you need volume. Don’t do an incel routine, just ask your jacked friend for his PPL routine thats proven to work. quit trying to reinvent the wheel i wasted years tryna do that type of shit and “muh trailblaze” “muh fullbody workout mike mentzer” Don’t be like me.

David Laid got crazy strong and good gains from it, so he just had good genetics? It wouldn't work on skinnyfat ppl like me?

brother as someone who struggles with skinny-fat i can’t emphasize how much this is a bad idea. Please just do a neurotypical gym routine. Trust me i wasted so much time on this type of dumb shit,

david laid is a ROIDER with good genetics who LIES about what he did to get clicks and reactions as a MARKETING GIMMICK!

If you’re skinnyfat first lose all the gut and then lean bulk while on PPL routine. I feel so much better at 146lbs with a lot less fat than when i was in the 170s or 180s.

push pull legs every set to failure will destroy you. Should be done periodically

If they’re high intensity yea you’ll gain some if u do them before atrophy starts but most of the gains will be strength
