Well there are several things here.

1. There is still the incentive to be a high-income earner, since those males will still get access to sex and family, even if 6 figures becomes the new minimum, a portion of men will always take up the burden of striving for this, which includes the tech field, where you don't need more workers in order to sell your product. Where it becomes VERY interesting is with all the guys that would have been window cleaners, street sweepers, cemet mixers etc.. If those guys decide to shrug off responsibility because the black pill has reached them? Who knows the consequences of that..​

2. Japan is a great example, but in a different way than you suggest. It's a hyperconformity combined with women's liberation that leads to a lot of 'useless men' as it were. In the West, there will always be more options available to a middle-aged unmarried guy than a Japanese salaryman of the same age, and a lot less stigma to him deciding to find a new path in life.
