Imagine in the future we master bioengineering, gen editing and cosmetic surgery so that everyone can look like 7ft tall handsome Adonis.
What do you think would happen? Human nature would make it that people will still find new ways to discriminate and rank and choose potential partners.

Maybe if we're all equals physically it will be personality, intelligence etc that would make you attractive. But those thing are heavily inherited too, you are born with them. So does that mean that whatever happens we WILL find a way to discriminate certain category of people?

I feel like if we had total control to look perfect physically, people will quickly go into weird physical modification to look different. You'd see weird shit like furrys, catgirl etc rising.
People would hate looking exactly like everyone else, and normal beauty standards would become obsolete and you would see a lot of different beauty subcultures if that makes sense

I think the first few months/years would be like an "ideal" world, everyone is attractive, everyone can fuck. But after some time it would become boring and nothing special.
So it's either physical appearance will become irrelevant and personality will truly be the discriminating factor; OR people will go into weird physical fetish.
Either way as you have total control over your physic, everyone is on the same level of opportunity to develop his personality. BUT as I said even then there would be inherent differences that would make some people more inept than others.
So I guess in the end no matter what, we have to accept that the world is inherently unfair, it actually makes our lives easier to accept now
