Isn't starting at .05 good too ? .1 might be a bit much but .05 should be fine
gotta work your way up there and see whats best for you
some people only need 0.025 for good skin while others need 0.1

niga if u do start to lose hair just 2.5mm microneedle it w minox
LOL not gonna do shit. I'm already on fin for MPB, not sure if it's working tbh. Been on it for 7 months now. I'll be waiting till the 12months mark, re-assess and hop on dut I think. Not a fan of minox, you need to keep using it as long as you wanna keep the minox-induced hairs

niga i slight receding hairline around my temple area and after now more than 1 year on minox and microneedle 1mm, I grew a lot of it back. I even tried to rape my hairline to lower it beyond what it was originally, but havent been able to do it yet rip

They confuse me with someone else who's already ascended but he's iirc still not done with his surgeries.

This forum is full of narcymaxxed subhuman autistic 14yo kids who irl can't utter a single comprehendible sentence beside "cope".
I have them on ignore, I only interact with the worthy members here which there's a few of.

Are you actually going to use dutasteride doesn't sound like a good idea. At least visit a dermatologist and get your hormones checked first.

Unless you rot inside I wouldnt continue doing it

Your skin will sting and flake like crazy because its not used to tret let alone the 0.1%
Might take months to go back to normal while having irritated skin is not fun

I have already done that, I have zero side effects on finasteride but I'm not sure if it's working. I was expecting it to fully regrow my vertex (crown) but it's not done much to be frank.

Yes I'm going to be using dutasteride

Already been to a derm, she said I had MPB and I'm going back to her in November to check if I have something else going on on my scalp, like either folliculitis or seborrheic dermatitis which I'm already using ketoconazole shampoo for

It can cause un-curable hairloss tho. I'm pretty wary tbh

Stop being so high inhib. There are very low chances you'll get any side effects. Actually tret + minox has been shown to grow hair. How are you willing to hop on dut which can possibly cause permanent ED but not on tret

I want to start using tret too, can it cause hairloss ?? First time I hear that. I'm already NW2.5 so if true that's kind of a bummer
It can, and it's uncurable sadly. It's called Post Accutane Syndrome. Both isotretinoin and tretinoin can cause this. It's pretty similar to Alopecia Areata.

this is probably a dumb question but how does it cause hair loss if only applied to the face and not hairline?

It causes some hormonal issues that are related to your adrenal and thyroid gland. Also it causes
sebaceous gland inflammation

after a quick search it looks like its vitamin a overdose, maybe for people who have tretinoin 0.1 and use it daily

dunno man, google Post Accutane Syndrome

No, don't use it everyday. I'd say use it every other day before you sleep and see how you react, if you don't experience skin irritation you can up it to everyday. If you do experience irritation wait for your face to adjust before increasing usage. If you find it just irritates your skin and you don't adjust then you'll have to lower your concentration. Use a moisturizer please :)

@benignice what do you think, does tretinoin cause hair loss ?

The topical version should not cause hairloss, you're not rubbing it in your scalp. Isotretinoin (accutane) can cause it as it's full body, it's a huge step up in intensity and can cause all kinds of side effects. Tretinoin imo is safe for basically everyone you have nothing to worry about, if you have good skin quality already don't even bother with the prescription level strength. Buy any retinoid face product, it has similar efficacy in terms of collagen and wrinkles the high concentrations are for people who have acne or other related skin problems.

Once a twice a week is fine if you have very sensitive skin. Personally I have somewhat sensitive skin but was able to use it everyday at .05 concentration without even any adjustment period. You're not going to die lol, it's not a dangerous drug. At most your skin would be red and irritated for a few days if it's too much.

Using 0.1 everyday for scars nd PIE and PIH

Yes, you fucked yourself, buy 0,025.
You can dilute 0,1 with the moisturizer and use small amounts.
