Not sure how much you can exactly get with LL, I reckon 4 inches at most? But that might be a bit too much/too dangerous so I’d do about 3 inches. Become 5’6 and then fraud to 5’9 with tall shoes and lifts. 5’9 is decent enough.

There’s a world difference between being 5’3 and 5’7. His quality of life will go up tremendously. Granted, he’ll still be kinda short but not extremely short like he is now.
