I got the A+ cert back in High School from a voucher and I haven't used it for shit yet lol, I was thinking of getting Security+ so I could have an easier time applying for help desk jobs

Theres no fast way to do it

Just study the content and take the certification test

Watch some youtube videos on it or look at libgen for some ebooks about how to complete it easier

I'm doing the Google Cybersec course bc its only like $60, easy af, helps you study for sec+ and gives you a 30% off voucher. Once I'm done with the course I'm gonna watch professor messer's lectures on it (costs $50 unless I can find it free somewhere) and take some practice tests before. I'll probably be done in like a month unless the exam seems easier than I thought

No idea why he would say that as if every MSP just went out of business, however I don't think it's still necessary to start at helpdesk, you can probably start at like a jr sysadmin or noc technician role unless you have zero experience and education

I think he has a point saying "Are you too stupid for brain requiring jobs?"

It seems like that path is only necessary for 30 year old chuds who did an IT bootcamp and spent the last decade working in a warehouse
