I have been on accutane for 5+ months but i'm only on 20mg, everytime i go to him and im excited to up the dose he keeps it the same. It would be stubborn to ask him to up the dose but im not sure why hes keeping such low dose

Has 20 mg worked? Have you seen progress maybe higher dose isnt necesary

20mgs for longer is better then 40mg for a shorter period, your derm is correct
