Bullshit. Switzerland is great if you want to be mediocre. If you learn a trade, you can earn a good wage, like 80k a year or so. If you are ambitious, you can't really do a lot if you arent already born into wealth. Atleast before you hit 30 you won't make it big. It's a slow progression, even if you have great genetics, ambition, luck etc.

In the US on the other hand, the sky is the limit.

Switzerland is more rigid and characterized by social hierarchies but you can probably still break into the circle and rise up the ladder quickly if you are cunning and can charm people.
I admire the mentality of Americans, and you can make good money there, but you have to spend a considerable portion of your income just to escape diversity and shield yourself from all the societal problems.

I mean in tech and the financial industries you can do this. A lot of high level work these days is simply managing people not hands on unless your some sort of engineer or work in a lab.
