Based Bodyworks may be a good option if you are looking for natural or clean products and if their shipping works reliably for your location. Still, its effectiveness does not clearly surpass other trusted brands that are more accessible and scientifically backed.

Some of the best options include brands like Briogeo, Mielle Organics, Innersense, and EDEN BodyWorks. for what
there is no universal best hair product it depends on your porosity and type
based bodyworks shampoo would rape my hair because of the coconut oil in it
for some the coconut oil is beneficial

Mielle Organics uses natural oils and botanical extracts that promote hydration and hair growth. Innersense prefers pure, sustainable formulas that balance the pH and maintain scalp health. EDEN BodyWorks is another well-known American brand with nourishing lines like Coconut Shea and Peppermint Tea Tree, suitable for a variety of hair types.

Remember: Good conditioners include moisturizing agents such as glycerin, plant oils like argan or jojoba, and butters like shea. Maintaining a slightly acidic pH (around 4.5 to 5.5) helps keep the cuticle sealed, reduces frizz, and maintains scalp health. A balance between moisture and protein is essential, since too much protein can make hair stiff and too much moisture can make it limp. Limiting irritants such as artificial fragrances and alcohols can also help if you have a sensitive scalp.

I also made chat gpt write me a weekly routine what do you think about this?

Weekly Schedule

Day 1: Deep Clean + Styling

  1. Shampoo → cleanse scalp and hair thoroughly.
  2. Rinse-out conditioner (optional) → detangle and soften (you can skip if hair isn’t very dry).
  3. Leave-In Conditioner → apply to damp hair, comb through for even distribution.
  4. Pudding Soufflé → seal in moisture and define curls.
  5. Style as usual → air dry, twist-out, braid, or wash-and-go.

Day 2–3: Refresh / Gentle Clean

  • Co-Wash → gently cleanse without stripping oils.
  • Leave-In Conditioner → apply to damp hair for moisture.
  • Pudding Soufflé → seal and define curls.
  • Style as usual.

(No shampoo needed these days unless your scalp feels greasy.)

Day 4–5: Moisture Boost / Refresh

  • Skip shampoo or co-wash if hair is not dirty.
  • Lightly dampen hair with water or a water + leave-in mix.
  • Apply Leave-In Conditioner and Pudding Soufflé to refresh curls, reduce frizz, and restore shape.

Day 6–7: Repeat Gentle Clean / Co-Wash

  • Co-Wash (or shampoo if needed for buildup)
  • Leave-In Conditioner
  • Pudding Soufflé

Extra Tips

  • Never use leave-in after pudding soufflé. Always leave-in → pudding.
  • Shampoo only 1–2 times a week, depending on scalp oiliness and product buildup.
  • Co-wash is safe for frequent use and keeps hair soft.
  • Less is more — avoid piling all products at once; too much can weigh hair down.
  • Section your hair when applying leave-in or pudding soufflé for even distribution.

Using the shampoo to wash, the Soufflé as a moisturizer or for styling, and the Cleansing Co wash can cause it to dry out over time.

great, you just need to adjust the frequency of shampooing or co-washing according to your scalp.

so what should i change do you think?
continue to use the soufflé to moisturize and condition, but don’t overdo it, section your hair and distribute it lightly to keep it manageable. Some days, you can skip the leave-in conditioner and simply spray a little water with the soufflé to revive the curl. If your ends are dry, a light oil will suffice, but generally apply the soufflé from mid-lengths to ends

oky thanks bro

adjusting? like should i lower the frequency or increase the frequency? Or it depends on my hair?
y bro, it depends a lot on your hair. If you have dry or curly hair, it's best to reduce the frequency of washing and use more co-wash or just water and a little soufflé to refresh it. If your scalp gets oily easily or u have a lot of product buildup, u can increase the frequency of washing a little

my hair is kinda oily and wavy

there’s no good or bad shampoo, it depends on your type of hair and how your hair reacts to it

keep shampooing low, co-wash more often, and always use the soufflé for moisture and styling. Your wavy hair will stay soft, shiny, and defined without getting weighed down or dry.

depending on how ur hair reacts, it may be best to use OGX shampoo only once a week or every so often to avoid buildup, and continue using a co-wash on other days to refresh but if u notice that your scalp is getting too oily or heavy, reduce the frequency of shampoo use

bruh the only available one is EDV but it takes a long time for it to arrive? Do you have any other recommendations for a conditioner for straight hair type?

Have you personally used any of these?

try Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine. I've used it and it works well for straight hair, leaving it soft and shiny without weighing it down.

Ofc, what I've recommended is for straight or wavy hair that frizzes easily, but isn't super oily. So, if your hair is straight/wavy, medium-length, and frizzy, it's good for you because it leaves it soft and shiny without so much puffiness.
