Family history, ASD is mostly genetic. If you weren't diagnosed when very young (like 2-6 years old) you probably don't have it - it's very apparent when kids have it.

i think a lot of people here have "acquired autism" meaning they looked like shit when younger and weren't socialised properly which made them social rejects and when you are already a social reject it's hard to come back from that since nobody invites you to anything etc.

due to this lack of interaction with peers or most of the interaction being bad they couldn't know how to talk to people so they turned to the internet. That's why a lot of people on this forum behave "weirdly" in social interactions (ofc someone who's every interaction was bad would be on edge in social situations, it's normal)

The fix for this is imo, fixing the underlying issue that caused it in the first place - looks, and exposure therapy with phenibut/lyrica/nardil/other drugs of this caliber
