What is the difference between mewing and keeping ur teeth together?

Isn't it the same thing?
 
When you mew you put your tongue on the roof of your palate and when you keep your teeth together it’s called keeping your teeth together.

its practically the same thing, if you keep your teeth together your tongue will automatically go to the roof of your mouth anyway

Not for me. I have to deliberately make a conscious effort to put my tongue at the top of my palate brah
 
Isn't it the same thing?
Mewing is when you press your tongue against the roof of your mouth to widen your palate & make your jaw more defined. You should never clench your teeth when mewing. Also, mewing won't work if your 18+.
 
Your pushing the upper jaw up and forward right?

This is the same function as the mandible
 
The teeth push the same way the tongue does
