What is up with people turning on the heating when it’s not even cold?

All my colleagues seem to do this. The female one is the worst. The heaters were on 35°C in her cabin

The guy in my cabin kept turning the heating on, even though it was warm and sunny outside. Plenty of people out in t-shirts. So he wants it to go from pleasant temperature to stiflingly hot?

Idk if this is just a thing with security guards. Whether their laziness manifests as just wanting to sit in a boiling cabin and not have any semblance of fresh air or natural temperature

Anyway, I spent 10 minutes stroking a cat on the way home cos it kept rubbing its head against my hand whenever I stopped
