I think generally most people still yearn for a traditional life. Too much shit, from a psychological standpoint, just gets in the way. And you're no exception. You have to leave behind this defeatist mindset; there's truth to what you say, but a lot of it is being blown out of proportion. If you change your mindset around these things, if you change your mindset about yourself, your reality can change, and it likely will change.
