i don't see the point in gymcelling for 2+ years just to get a 0.5 improvement and gymcelling on manlets is completely pointless.

That's only true if you take steroids. Lifting weights doesn't increase testosterone but it allows you to have as much as you normally would have for your age, this means a higher libido, more energy and feeling more manly overall.

It increases testosterone if you've been living an unhealthy lifestyle until now consisting of no physical activity, a lack of sleep, and a lack of calories (or an excess of body fat). Getting into shape and changing those habits will increase your testosterone levels, but only up to what they should have been if you had lived a more active lifestyle like your ancestors did. So it doesn't lead to hair loss, because the testosterone increase is not big enough to increase DHT. This also applies to testosterone replacement therapy, the dose is so small, it has no impact on your DHT. Now, if you blast test for 250 mg twice a week (or more), then yes your DHT will be affected.
