What neck exercises do I need to do?

I'm doing 3x20 of each one.
Do I really need to do all of these? The first exercise is the one that gives the most results, it kind of "swells" my neck, and if I want to gain fast, the side muscles of the neck will give my neck more size?

Curls and extensions are more important, the side one can be replaced with exercises that works the traps the most

yeah my neck got like 1-2 cm bigger after only 1 month brah i started it bcuz of rugby and shit its also amazing for dimorphism even tho i don't need more dimorphism atm

What I'm trying to say is that I only see a difference with the first exercise, and theoretically, the lateral muscles are the most important for hypertrophy and neck size.
I think I'm going to abandon the other 2, doing these 3 exercises is very exhausting

i do 3x 33 neck curles with 5kg but i am maintaining so not alot of neck gains

im training neck too but tbh it looks like a cope ngl, look at alphadestiny, he has been training it for years now and its still small

What would "shit muscle insertions" be?
i saw a thread about it , when flexing to maximize neck aesthetics some people have a straight aesthetic neck whiles some have a weard shaped one like a pyramid but i don think its a big deal. Alpha destiny has a shitty thin neck naturally so hes not gonna be able to achieve a truly thick neck this goes for most here too

I agree, I've been training my neck since February and I've noticed 0 gains, and my neck is extremely thin at 13 inches. My goal is just to get to 14 inches so at least I'm on this chart. I think the larger your neck is naturally the easier it will be to increase it further.

thats what i mean , everyone can achieve a proprotional ''normal'' neck , but a thick one is all genes barrett could prob gymcel his to corey taylor width but his neck is already really thick naturally

you need roids for big neck and traps, same with shoulders, because of the high androgen receptor density in those areas

thats the case, but your expectations are prolly higher than whats naturally possible, most morphs I see regarding neck size are doable but only with roids or getting fat
