Obviously the material, but we humans are made up of materials just like robots. So what makes us be concious and not just be like robots, who thinks without acctually being concious.

If the universe follows fixed physical laws, but you feel like you have free will, are your choices truly free or is free will just an illusion created by complexity?

I think it's an illusion created by complexity
And about the robots part, they are that way because we created them like that , we definitely created some level of tech constraint that stopped them from feeling conscious

Well, we didnt create anything to make stopped them from feeling conscious.
Youre thinking about the effect called qualia which comes from the complexity of the human brain.

But what really makes us not just walk around with our brains deciding everything, but without there being an actual «soul» inside as some people would call it.

So basically what im asking is do we have souls, and robots doesnt?
And if we have, why and how?
Were made by the food our parents consumed, so why would a soul attach to that creation, and not a robot? Or maybe it does attach to robots?
