What places on the internet do you guys even go anymore?

I remember before 2017 the internet was such a cool place and I would meet people through minecraft.

Now I literally only use 4 sites 4chan looksmax youtube and discord...

Anyone know some decent places to go like some obscure or wild west type places maybe on the metaverse going to take a break from the internet soon because it gives me no joy anymore even the dark web sucks most of the links are broken

I don't know what happened used to be all these weird wacky sites you could find. But its like there are only a few big places anymore.

Everything has been absorbed by reddit. Places like liveleaks no longer exist either

It just sort of sucks the internet back in 2017 was way more free, And reading stories from the old internet in the 90's and early 2000's sounds so esoteric and cool now everything is gay and controlled by 3 companies they've managed to compartmentalize the internet for every person so each person has their own box but this is painfully boring

Yeah but there must but some frontier or cutting edge place I can go. Maybe I need to try the deep web more. Or maybe this exists on the Metaverse and new emerging technologies.

Really wish I was born in the 90's so I could have been apart of the social media creation so much opportunity and adventure back then now its controlled by 3 companies Meta Google and Twitter

Imagine being a software engineer or a guy with tech skills 2 decades ago in your teens/20's so much cool stuff was going on now its all been done and it patented by big tech

I actually am on it right now I always use it when I log into looksmax. I will try more but most sites are broken or they are just honey pot scam sites.

Very rare to find a genuinely interesting place. All the legit places like silk road have been shut down for the most part. The deep web really isn't that interesting these days but maybe I'm not search hard enough. I did find an interesting chatroom once but it got DDOS attacked,

I thought I was the only one who felt like this way. The internet has gotten more boring in the last 5 years. It feels like there was more to do back in the day.
