what preventative and maintenance measures should i take to have good hair for as long as i can

just for background info my dad and paternal grandpa are nw 0.5 but my maternal grandpa is nw7 in his 70s. i'm nw 0.5

What type of shampoo and conditioner should i use, are there any specific brands that are good

how often should i wash my hair

is there anything else i need to do for my hair (coconut oil, argan oil, vitamins ?)

use ketoconazole shampoo 2-3 times a week, take d3 and iron supps

As for good hair like having the right texture you want, thickness, volume, i dont know anything about that. But I do know about balding and if you want to keep your hair as it is you should get on finasteride as soon as possible. You can prevent hair loss easily but getting it back is difficult or impossible.

Ah shit I didnt know you were so young. You definitely shouldn't take it at that age it can mess with the careful hormone balance while you grow. I would wait a few years, but then it is safe. Almost no one experiences symptoms like erectile dysfunction from it, but of course there is always a risk. Thr chances are, if you are otherwise healthy, you will have no side effects

DO NOT get on finasteride unless you actually experience hairloss related to alopecia. Idiots who say you should get on finasteride before you notice hairloss deserve to be in prision
