Talking about things like a recessed jaw, downgrown jaws with a shit occlusal plane, inward slanded mandible at the ramus, forward sloped ramus giving a high gonial angle.
Also things like alveolar progratism with shit teeth alignment, if that isn't a separate thing in of itself.

The primary culprit is our soft diet. A secondary culprit is moutbreathing caused by allergies. Allergies are partly environmentally and partly genetically caused.

We live in such sterilized environments compared to 100-200 years ago that people don't develop resistances from environmental factors quite as much as they used to and we've also given people with severe allergies the option of passing those on to the next generation.
