What’s a good salary goal for someone that wants to be rich?

Keep in mind the top 1% salary in America starts at $476k.

Generally 100k+/yr is pretty fucking solid. From there on it gets a lot easier to become wealthier.

Keep in mind the average salary is like $45k and 50% of people are below average.

Chances are you will never make more than mid-high five figures.

In the UK even making 40k is considered a lot to ask for as a salary.

Depends on tax rate, where you live and for how many years.

I.E - If you earn >3M for a couple of years anywhere in the world , you'll be fairly rich.

If you earn 200k in LA before taxes for only 3 years, you are definitely not rich.

Rich is based on net worth, not salary imo. And cost of living also dictates how relatively rich you are.

Very true, but even if u earn 10x that u won't feel rich, if u not got fitness model body and catalogue model face, u can't feel rich till u earn 800k BARE MINIMUM

If you "work" as an employee for a salary you can never be rich.

$200k+ not household income but induvidual

My family has 250k ish income but still I never felt rich just upper middle class growing up. Not that that's bad or anything but people don't really start to see you as rich in that range

You need to be doing something that has a high degree of self management.

you can never be rich as a salary man, they own your ass. and all your finances are on record ready to be taxed and siezed into oblivion

even begging for money on the internet is a more dignified way of making money

imo anyone in the UK making over £70,000 (~$100,000) is widely considered 'rich' and certainly middle class. but I had a poorcel upbringing so that could affect my point of view.

Half of those are meaningless when taxes get involved and the government takes half of it

In the UK the gov seize 50% of ur money if u make 500k

To truly be rich you need to make above 1 million per year so 3Million is the correct answer

People often confuse “living comfortably” with rich 100k - 500k is enough to live a comfortable life with not many worries but it’s not rich

when you can afford ll

Salary, not accounting for taxes? 100k+ then

After taxes $100,000 isn't that much. You can't really save and make it rain. $200,000+ is minimum for abundance .

Depends on your living arrangement. If you live in an apartment and don't waste your money on cars you're effectively rich at 150k
