Ceph x-rays wil show the side-view of the skull,jaw,and teeth alignment so it can

measure overbite severity in mm

reveal the actual positition of your jaw and the angle of your teeth

Figure out whether your overbite is dental or skeletal.

CBCT scan will show sinus,bone density,and airway obstruction

Basically everything you need if surgery is the ideal route so your surgeon can be as precise as possible

The exam by the practioner at the end will help check/confirm deep bites, cross bites, open bites.

They can also focus on the function like the actual jaw movement, wear on teeth, TMJ, etc.

Also make sure you proofread/vet out a good clinic unfortunately not all "trained" professionals are actually that great at their job and this shit costs a lot so it's best to get the most bang for your buck
