Any other suggestions? I had a little success with women when I was younger, then after college it was pretty much over. I started working from home, then gradually lost interest in doing anything, or going out, and just rotted inside playing video games, watching movies, listening to music, etc...

Mostly adventure and RPG games with lots of characters, dialogue and complex stories that could substitute for the lack of interaction with people in real life, but also some action, shooter or strategy games: the Fallout series, Fable, Borderlands, Diablo, Call of Duty, HOMM, etc.
I'm not a big fan of anime or JRPGs, I've found them too "wordy" and annoying for my liking, I prefer western animation and video games.

Procrastination also held me back from all the wild and crazy plans I had in my youth, I'm more of a thinker than a doer, for example I've found then some nice ways to make money online, but instead of exploiting them as much as I could, I chose the easy way to do the minimum required work and simply get comfortable.

Right now I'm not doing anything, but back then I studied a lot about Internet marketing, building websites, making money from ads, affiliates, etc... I started working on this, and soon the money started to come, back then this stuff was still in its infancy, so you could actually do some nice money without much of an effort. However I quickly got bored and lazy instead of working to expand and started to rot and just stay at home watching movies, playing games, etc. The money still came for years without me doing much, but then the Internet changed and there was no more money.
But by that time, I simply didn't care anymore, I was too numb, bored with life and everything...

I'd give you 2 years to do all you can to put together the potential for a semblance of a fruitful life. After 40 it's truly over if you're still as you are now (at least, my outside perspective of what you currently are).

I'm not the only one like this, I know at least several other guys from high school, who are pretty much in the same situation as me or worse: in their late 30s, still living with their parents, they are still virgins, they do have jobs but low-paying and with no perspectives. They also cope with video games & movies.
One of them focused on his career and it seemed he made it: he actually find a girl and married her. He said she was still a virgin even though she was 30, this should have been a huge red flag, but he was very inexperienced. They only had sex a few times, his wife is frigid or asexual, now he has two daughters, and works his ass off to support his family, he rarely gets sex, he's basically an escortcel now.

Need to start networking with old dudes in similar situations as you online and then network. Save up some unemployment money and make sure you're working out and meditating. Nofap helps too.
