so i finished accutane around 2 months ago now but now i have these very weird non acne red spots which look like acne but aren’t, and also my face is blushed fully and it’s very visible, and my skin is just shit in total with big pores, acne scars, redness, and slight eyebags. i’ve been considering laser therapy for the acne scars but idk which one to pick or if i do need it, so if you have suggestions let me know, also i assume i have rosacea because of the redness but 100% diagnosis. so yeah if you have suggestions on how i can fix my skin please let me know. and if you’re wondering my current skin care routine is just a splash of water in the morning alongside a moisturizer with exfoliation on monday and thursday.

Buy a quality vitamin C serum, without any perfume

unfortunately don’t think vitamin c is the issue here.
My skin was like this too. I solved it with vitamin C and sunscreen, using it regularly and applying ice to my face every morning.

post inflammatory hyperpigmentation + pores, accutane cant help with PIH but vita c serum can help with the PIH and pores i would just either exfoliation or accutane (dont do both + dont stack vita c serum with accutane if ur sensitive).

this is my skin coming off accutane 😅

could it be scarring or have ur skin been like that
my skins been like this, it’s been a big issue for me for a while. accutane induces collagen but ig it had no effect. kinda hopeless just hope i can fix this somehow.

yeah accutane wouldnt directly help ur skin, maybe indirectly. those type of “scars” fade in months.
look into serums and if needed bb cream can help cover

i had these type of scars for 1.5 years now, also look at the redness in my skin it’s so bad. my jew dermatologist said i didn’t need any treatment which is clearly untrue.
