Any bands you like? For me, it's Misery Signals. I saw them live last year for their farewell tour, they broke up after 20 years. And yes, I was the only brown guy there. I saw a Filipino or Thai and a Brazilian foid too but I meant muzzie type of brown.

I don't listen to a lot of metalcore but I used to. I really like early 2000s post hardcore and emo bands like from first to last and taking back sunday.

Mirin, yeah I used to listen to a lot of post-hardcore, pop punk. Crazy how that guy from From First To Last ended up becoming an A-list celebrity as Skrillex.

Thanks for the nice words bhai, I was an emo kid back in the late 2000s and early 2010s. My favorite vocalist however was and always remained Jonny Craig. I even met him twice, when he was with Slaves and once for his 10 year Dance Gavin Dance tour when he went touring with Kurt and Tilian as well. Good times. He was such a cool guy haha, doesn't deserve all the hate he gets. He even wanted me to smoke a joint with him but I said no because my brother was there with me. Colin, the guitarist from Slaves invited me backstage because my brother said I was a big fan, that was kinda cringe but really nice of Colin nonetheless. I felt embarrassed AF and there was the crew, getting high backstage.

I ran so you could walk kinda vibes. :feelskek: I'm actually 29, I turn 30 at the end of the year. Mirin that you still dress that way and have the hair. At least it's socially acceptable for you because you're white, I was a minority within a minority because I'm Pakistani. :ROFLMAO:

Yes, that's true. E-boys and e-girls are the cultural successors of 2000s emos. Basically, we ran so y'all could walk. :ogre:
