Basketball highly accessibly and fun, very easy to improve as a beginner as well. and do a combat sport on the side

All three of them are mogger sports.

I was more asking do you plan on playing for a team in highschool or a club type thing?

Cause I thought 15 was too late to start training for sports, so seeing you want to start at 17 is inspirational I guess

Get into weightlifting for the time being. Once you're in college, I'd highly recommend you join the rowing team at your school or a niche sport like lacrosse.

nah, two more years before that

not tryna go pro or anything jfl just a hobby

your frame didn't grow from 9 years old what :lul:
obviously but my muscle mass didnt increase drastically. Swimming makes your shoulders broader is a myth (its just overtrains delts and lats)

weird because I was swimming from 9-16 too and it seems my arms have subhuman muscles. but my ribcage and shoulders are quite broad now and my chest and legs are naturally muscular despite me being fat and inactive

my ribcage and shoulders are massive too, but it's a family thing, so I doubt it was swimming that did that. I could have been bigger if I did others sports instead. OP is too old to make good gains by swimming, better chose a more social sport like basketball
