I was recommended to do ccw rotation surgery + genioplasty by @Fuk but to be honest i dont think i will be able to do it. its like 30k and the recovery time would be insane. id have to be on braces for a year and then nine months post the surgery. wouldnt be able to eat solid food for like 3 months after the surgery.
I have a recessive face and my jaw definitely is dropped down. would a custom jaw and chin implant be my next best option besides the double jaw surgery

your chin actually has good projection, it is your recessed and downgrown mandible that is the problem, keep your molars in light contact and it will get better

I guess it would be but I’ve come to the conclusion that fixing recession, and not just masking it, is paramount.

do you mean by mewing?

yeah thats probably true but are there any other surgeries besides double jaw surgery that would fix the recession?

Not really. Double jaw would be the price you’d need to pay imo.

mewing tongue posture wise for the maxilla will do little at your age unless you are willing to wait several years for your results, keeping your teeth together will upswing your mandible in a relatively short period of time, probably 8 months for decent results

What about growing a beard and a custom jaw and chin implant? do you think that would be effective masking? as well as mewing and keeping my teeth together

Yeah I guess so, but can I ask why you just don’t save up and wait for double jaw, using a beard in the meantime?

cuz 30k is ridiculous. plus im 19 rn and in college and i feel like i would be wasting whats supposed to be the best time of my life by working insane hours. it would take 2+ years to finally get the results and the recovery would be hell. I feel like custom jaw and chin implant + mt2 + curtain hairstyle + working out everyday would get me to where i want. I'm 6' which helps and im gonna debloat and also considering almond eye surgery

Your chin is fine. It looks bad becuase everything else is set back. After your bimax it will look quite good.

After double jaw you should plan more surgeries (but only if they are needed)

Dont get ahead of yourself or you'll get lost in mental gymnastics and fantasy land. One thing at a time bud.

bro my hair is extra ginger rn because i tried dying it brown and they fucked it up. it turned black and i had to get it into this shitty color

psl right now?

Do it yourself. Redken Chromatics, buy it on amazon. 20% developer, 3n color

You’re gonna make it bro that’s for sure.
You could probably get away with just non face looksmaxxes tbh like gym and style.
Whatever you decide to do good luck man, you’re gonna make it though

Wouldn't a chin implant make him worse since he already has a decent chin and his problem is with recession not shape?

thats kinda what im worried about. considering a jaw implant to make face more square but it may just look bad. and thats a lot of money. probably gonna get almond eye surgery
