I went to a party on Saturday and I assume I must have gotten really drunk because I can't remember jackshit from it, woke up on Sunday with a message from one of my buddies telling me that he and a bunch of other people saw me kiss a guy at the party and that he had a video of it.

He sent it to me and in the playback my lips don't even TOUCH the face of the dude, they barely GRAZE his hair and it's obvious I was joking and heavily inebriated so I obviously wasn't acting on 100% clear sentience, now he's telling everybody that I had kissed him, people at my school are fucking asking me if I actually did it

I hadn't actually shown the video to anybody, I feel that it would just escalate the situation to an unnecessary extent and add even more fuel to the rumor, I'm contemplating on it now though because I'm still getting questions and it has nearly been a week

It's genuinely over, what do I do?
