Never struggled with bulking and cutting honestly, I'm like 13% right now, but I've gone as low as 11%. It's all calorie manipulation and learning to be full for as long as possible, I also add intermittent fasting for good measure.

A very good tip that has helped me a ton is static meals, I basically eat the same 3 meals every day, and I add an extra one and adjust it when I'm bulking. By eating the same meals every day you are: saving money since you know exactly what to buy in the grocery store and don't buy extra food items that you can snack on or that you would never end up fully using, you're perfectly tracking your caloric intake, and you're also perfectly tracking your micronutrient intake.

You can't avoid losing weight if your meals are built around your goals, and you always eat the same meals. If you're less obsessed, you can also have weekly meals you rotate. Anyway, of course as you lose weight you're going to have to adjust the meals, maybe each 3 weeks reducing them by 100 calories.
