I know that I have a recessed chin, and I was wondering the best surgery to get. I was thinking a sliding genioplasty, but would a complete lower jaw surgery be better or a double jaw surgery? Respond if you want to see different angles.
Have a chat with an orthodontist and maxillofacial surgeon for an opinion. IMO you need double jaw surgery, you are clearly recessed both jaws.
They will be able to determine if you have any functional issues - bite / malocclusion, sleep apnea, etc etc.
Even if you don’t have any functional issues it would improve your life functionally - your airways because they are guaranteed narrow cause your recession and aesthetically. The surgeon will be able to provide a more detailed recommendation
