does not fix down growth. it just addresses 1 aspect of it (vertical growth is made up of "down and back" Bimax fixes Back, but not down.). And with mainstream jaw surgery the midface, orbitals and entire upper maxilla all remain recessed.

For the maxilla im not sure there can be ccw rotation but for the mandible yes, can shorten the face a bit but long midface is kinda brutal
