You can clearly see the advancement nonetheless and the angle is slightly different in the first before/after but that's not a huge difference either (his tinder results (in 2019 tho) are coherent with his pics).
There is a reason why he is still talked about since all this time, he was truecel in the before and he is clearly above average in the after, outside of deformed/accidents before-after you rarely see such transformations.

True, it's funny how they say "I ascended" but they already had good foundation, they didn't have to deal with hard failos, such as hooked nose, recessed chin, narrow jaw (goblin-alien alike), terrible facial thirds: horse midface, huge/small chin and a huge forehead; or a terrible eye area: unideal IPD and PFL.. they just did softmaxx (lose weight, chewing and skincare) and then revealed their potential but didn't "ascend" as such... they were already MTN or HTN.
