how would the west react? would they accept his change of heart with open arms or go to town on russia treaty of versaille style?

how would the russian people react? would there be mass political unrest and power struggles? or would they accept that the war was retarded, they were losing and the west has the better of things?

Hey. If you want a serious answer, let me tell you. Countries and alliances do not care about LGBTQ rights, or whatever you think they do. Collective west, and NATO are only interested in neutralizing other nations as threats - and that includes Russia. If Putin backed out, and “did full 180”, NATO would be suspicious of such a move, but try to utilize the opportunity to their advantage.

World doesn’t operate on moral values - “oh no, they attacked muh peaceful happerino ukraine”. World operates on power - and thus, all collectives will try to get it. Any other bullshit, such as LGBTQ, is nothing more but strategies of making their own populace dumb and sedated as ways to be able to control them better.
