Bimax first because that will have an affect over my maxilla projection which might affect the shape of my nose, plus it will be for orthodontic treatment, and then rhino after it all heals and i see how it looks

Can I get your opinion on how bimax would affect my face and whether or not a local surgeon would take the bluepilled route and recess my lower jaw? I have pretty good chin projection and i would hate for an ortho to ruin that

Nigga what ? No surgeon will recess your jaw , botched bimaxes are simply underadvancements to cover functional needs

Im just worried, because I DO have a bite problem which does need to be fixed, and i have crowding, so I have legitimate functional ortho needs with the bimax. But I would still like an aesthetic focused surgery. I just dont know if a cosmetic surgeon will be able to work with an ortho to make it so I can still get braces after. I need to talk to a few surgeons about it and get their opinion

You must get braces anyways , there’s a phase of decompensation before the bimax where you wear elastics to bring teeth in their natural position, and you can discuss movements and stuff with your surgeon as long as you’re paying with you own money

Idk if youll know this but do you know if a USA ortho would be able to cooperate with an overseas european surgeon who would be doing the bimax? It would be complicated to have to go back and forth to some italian ortho to do braces work

Yes definitely possible the surgeon will simply share instructions by email , at the end of the day he’s gonna just tell him to worsen your bite to a certain degree with certain teeth alignment etc , you get me ?
