Not gonna have children, but why tf would we artificially raise down syndrome kids, 200 years ago they would have been killed at birth, shown to no one, and then claimed as a stillborn or something (nowadays people get thrown in jail for that so the baby is literally forced to exist and thrust upon the parents). It’s positive in a way if you consider the religious families that adopt them and give them a good life, but you’re not a “bad” person if you’re not willing to spend the rest of your life raising a disabled child.

I’m interested in the statistics of how many suspected down syndrome babies are aborted. I’d bet at least 90% are aborted based on suspicion.
