What would you rate this year's FUOTY tournament ?

The initial rounds were boring except the @Volksstaffel vs 183cm battle.
It was a constant nail biter because sometimes the votes were in Volk's favour and the next moment it was 183cm who was stealing his votes.
That guy did a good job by killing his hype to some extent.That actually paved the path for Volk's loss after few rounds.
Mirin @MyDreamIsToBe183CM setup for the biggest upset in this year's edition.
@ReadBooksEveryday 's matchup against Techno was more exciting than Volk's match because we had two of the OG members going at it.
RBE's gang helped him a lot by begging and that is where people felt like he didn't deserve to win.It was a close battle until the last hour.After that, @TechnoBoss gained pace and left him behind by a significant margin.
My matchup with @Orka was close as well.He showed great fightback after the initial hours.He had the lead for a long time and made sure it remains with him until the last minute.It was chill because we were not accusing each other falsely and hating on each other.If in the future I look back at this battle,I will not be bitter about loss because I know I lost to a more deserving user.
Now,in the end what surprised me the most was how the Final round didn't have as many votes as I had thought.
Only a total of 153 users voted.

Jokes aside, it was very different from what I've imagined.
Nobody gives a fuck about your contributions over the year. They only vote their friends.
Also everything before December is meaningless. If you start sucking everyone off in December, your chances of winning are very high.

all the super tight scary rounds had tons of mass tagging asking for voted

also, why was the final hosted on new years eve? when everybody is either with friends or family and very busy? I feel like for an event it should have the final chosen based off community availability, I remember @Nexom doing a poll of who's doing what for new hears and everyone was busy lol

I agree, one day earlier would have been ideal. In my poll about 114 people voted and more than half were doing stuff or going outside on NYE
