Whatever happened to women's personality detectors?

Watching this show on Netflix called Worse Ex Ever. Basically it's about women who get into relationships with men who nearly killed them. One woman let an unemployed guy she was dating move in with her. How did he thank her? He beat her and held her captive and shaved her head bald. She eventually escaped.

What happened to these foids personality detectors? Supposedly, women avoid incels because they can sniff out these guys bad personality.

women are good at indentifying the personality of beings lesser than them like children and animals, but for beings smarter and stronger than them like Dark triad men they assume that these men follow the same code of ethics in their deepest heart, which is untrue.
