it is a business so their best interest, at the end of the day, isnt to serve you, hence why they lie about the benefits without much fear since no one will sue them. However, prescriptions cant do that tho as they must be substantiated by evidence so theyre your best bet always.

But, as long as you understand some chemistry and physics and care to research a bit, there are a few acids which you can buy without a prescription and are truly beneficial and do more than altering your diet could, which is still incredibly effective in itself. You can pm me if you wanna hear the actual scientific base behind a very select few ingredients

I’ve never washed my face with anything but water, every time I’ve scrubbed my face no dead skin is really on it, but at the same time my face isn’t really oily I’ve also never gotten acne I might just be lucky.
