What's it like to have a job?

I got into a coding internship for the summer at some decent university in New York. I'll be helping with managing software and fixing bugs for software using mainly python and c++. I won't get paid, it's 40 hours a week, and there isn't girls according to someone else who did it last year, so i'll be pretty bored and unmotivated.

How is it to work a job, especially an unpaid one. Is it boring, does it go by slow/fast, does it feel fulfilling, etc?

Good for your cv and good experience but it will go by fast if you like what you do and slow if not.
