Sure hair is great, but the majority of times in whcih someone balding or bald looks bad is because of the lack of strong face features.Visible cheekbones (you dont need to have kortajarena tier cheekbones, just visible ones that turn your cheeks hollow) are one of the three "cheat code" features on men, alongisde with very tall height or a triangle shaped torso. I think that as long as you dont have a shit jaw, cheekbones provide more value than hair, as @magnificentcel said, "everyone has hair" but visible volume/added detail in your face makes you automatically stand out among the average population.

Agreed. Also the example of "hair, no cheekbones" in OP is not good because it's not just his flat, downward grown cheekbones that fuck him up. Almost everything on his facial structure looks recessed and underdeveloped. How many men are walking around with his level of facial recession? Recessed maxilla. Long midface. Long nose. Recessed mandible. Recessed chin. Downward growth. Very high gonial angle. The only above average thing on his face is his eye area and that cannot compensate for very bad bone structure that he has. We should use a better example than him.
