I dont think that matters a lot

herbst appliance works by pulling your lower jaw forward and keeping it in place. it only works when you're younger cause your mandible isn't fully developed so it can adapt to it

if youre 17, regardless of whether you're a late bloomer or not your mandible is pretty much done growing and all you can do is get bsso



but ig it is always worth a shot if you're a late bloomer
