There's a difference between doing useful work you actually get paid to do and being forced to do busy work that accomplishes nothing except waste your time and energy along with not even giving you any pay for your efforts like school studying and homework.

Don't do substances, just actually start liking the topic you study, do research well, including explanations of why for everything, then memorize step by step using triple recall (memorize then recall the whole thing thrice)
Actually tea is very helpful. Green tea or oolong (high quality, generic is fine too), make sure to brew in ~75°C will make you super calm
