What's the difference between orbital decompression and infra implants?

aren't they supposed to do the same?
 
In orbital decompression bone mass is being taken out and refilled with fat and in infraorbital implants mass is being added with silicon, PEEK, etc. so yeah, its basically the same except for the fact that it's completely different in its entirety.

orbital decomp reduces the bulging of the eyes, infraorbitals reduce the sunken under-eye area

What sense does it make to reduce infra bone and add fat i dont really understand, shouldnt it give same effect?

with orbital decompression you're not taking out bone from the infraorbitals, you're taking out bone from the orbital floor so that the eye can go further behind thus being less bulgy
