What’s the difference between raw carnivore and cooked?

I want to get into a raw carnivore diet but don’t know how I can avoid parasites while eating, or is it just more optimal to try and avoid them all together and eat cooked carnivore? What’s the big difference between the 2 and why do people glaze raw carnivore.
