I asked my parents the whole family genetic history about our hair so here goes
father bald but hes 76 started losing hair at 30went completely bald at 50 something. He’s also a early case on his side of the family most either keep there hair or start balding later in life like 40s.
my grandfather on his side had hair when he died I think a nw2. My great grandfather on his side was bald but started losing hair around 40s. My great grandmothers side the men were all the same. Around 50/50 for hair loss
my mother’s side her father died with a full head of hair nw1 and all men on that side have full heads of hair until they die. Apparently I look like like my grandfather and have his same thick af hair.
her grandmothers side they bald never go fully bald but they later in life like late 30s40smaybe start balding or keep their hair. If they do bald it usually only goes up to nw3 very rarely full baldness. Same with the great grandparents on each side also.
All my uncles-and great uncles you can see the 50/50 some bald some don’t and they’re all old cause my parents are old.
All my cousins and siblings older than me etc all have full heads of hair still. Even the 40 year olds.
my genetic background is black and Native American and some white.
so what’s your guys thoughts on this?
