Honestly, most Islamic people are degens but they keep it very lowkey. The right way would be to set up a meeting between the two families as long as the man is financially capable, but that doesn’t really happen anymore since Islamic people have become westernized. However I stay true to my cultural and religious values when it comes to this, so I don’t. I’ve gotten a few marriage proposals now but I’m not interested at all.
