Seeing flaying videos is more scary than watching someone get burned to me. When people/animals get skinned they’re in this state of shock and terror of getting what protects them from diseases gets removed. And the skin has a ton of nerve endings so imagine the pain of getting it ripped off. Also, burning is also stuff you see in movies, as a kid I couldn’t imagine that flaying was even a thing

Getting flayed or burned alive sounds awful. Any mutilation methods which would leave you alive for some time would also be horrific.

Drowning would be pretty bad due to it being a relatively slow death, the fear would acculumate as you gaso for air but I would rather get drowned then be flayed or burned alive.
